COVID-19 & Day Camp: 

Please know that we are working diligently to follow CDC, Onondaga County Health Department, and ACA guidelines for operating camp safely this summer. There are many ways in which camp will look and feel different this summer. It will not be the experience our campers are used to, as we are required to maintain certain precautions to prevent any illness. Campers and staff are REQUIRED to wear a face mask and maintain social distancing practices (at least 6 feet apart). It is your responsibility to provide a face mask for your child. If your child does not have a face mask, you may purchase one from us. If your child cannot comply with this requirement, he/she cannot attend camp. CHILDREN WILL NOT BE REQUIRED TO WEAR MASKS AT ALL TIMES. In times when we CANNOT social distance (at least 6 feet apart), a mask will be worn. We have  over 30 acres for camp use; we are confident that most, if not all activities can be conducted outside in a socially distanced manner. Since we are an outdoor, unplugged camp already, we envision keeping campers outside for the vast majority of the day. In the event that we experience inclement weather that prevents us from staying outside, we will utilize our largest barn (over 5,000 square feet inside) for activities while maintaining social distancing guidelines. This barn has 8 large doors and a large dairy curtain that completely raises to the ceiling, thus providing excellent ventilation. Campers will be in groups of no more than 10 at all times (this is a new group size guideline put out by NY state) and will stay with the same counselor throughout the week. Groups will NOT intermingle. Groups will NOT share equipment when feasible. For equipment such as the pedal cars, sanitation between use will occur. All surfaces, bathrooms, door knobs, equipment, etc. will be sanitized by a professional cleaner each night. Upon arrival to camp, all campers will have their temperature taken by a no-touch forehead thermometer. We will also ask basic questions regarding their health and household members' health. We require campers to STAY HOME if they are feeling ANY symptoms of illness, or if they were exposed to someone experiencing symptoms and/or has tested positive for Covid-19. In the event there is exposure to Covid-19, we will close the camp for at least one day to sanitize and follow directions from the health department. Frequent handwashing breaks will be taken and hand sanitizer will be available at all times. Tuition is due in full by June 20th. There are no refunds after June 20th, except in the event of a statewide executive order that requires us to close. In that case, we will refund 75% of your tuition payment. This is to cover materials costs already incurred (as items will not be returnable) as well as labor costs.  


We also accept credit or debit payments via Pay Pal. Please be aware there is a 3% processing fee added to tuition costs for credit or debit payments. Please inquire for details.
